6.  Lightbrown Apple Moth and Western Fruit Moth Trap Catches set up in Margaret River

Due to damage to grapes by lightbrown apple moth larvae in the Wilyabrup area last season, a transect of pheromone traps to monitor moths has been set up across the Margaret River region to help clarify pest pressure.  This represents a new occurrence for the region and it is not known whether last season’s damage will reoccur or was a one-off.

To view results of recent trappings or request further information please contact Stewart Learmonth or Helen Collie from the Department of Agriculture and Food in WA on (08) 9777 000 or email [email protected] or [email protected]
