VinSites tool to support growers with decision-making
VinSites is a web-based tool developed by Wine Australia to allow grape and wine producers to:
- Claim their vineyard and enter specific details
- View accurate maps of their vineyard
- Access benchmark information about yield by variety and region
- Measure annual performance
- Compare their vineyard, either over time or with other similar vineyards.
It will be used as a national database for the Australian grape and wine sector that winegrape producers can use to measure and compare their business performance over time.
VinSites will ‘go live’in the Riverland and Western Australia in August 2016 and will be a free tool for grape growers and winemakers.
