WGGA is seeking to appoint a National Winegrape Biosecurity Officer to manage its biosecurity program.  The role will include:

  • facilitating arrangements for national wine sector biosecurity management
  • securing long-term sustainable funding for wine sector biosecurity arrangements
  • fulfilling WGGA’s obligations to the commonwealth government under the Emergency Plant Pest Response Deed (EPPRD)
  • day-to-day management of WGGA’s biosecurity program

The position will be part-time (3 days per week) for an initial period of 12 months, with the possibility of extension and/or conversion to a full-time contract position.
